Testimonial: “Going to see Gafin was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I ran a lot in my teens, but by the age of 40 odd, I was starting to get knee pain. Felt like my knees might ‘give’ if I put a lot of pressure on them running, or walking downhill.

I didn’t really think anything could be done, but took a recommendation to try Podiatry. It’s a simple process, analysing gait on a computerised floor pad. I had a ‘pronation’ which was causing pressure on my knees.

And then the rather ‘Heath Robinson’ inserts for my shoes arrived. This was end of 2009. In 2012 I went to my first Parkrun, and have done nearly 100 now. Got my PB for 5k down to 20:47. Not bad for a 52 year old : ) who hadn’t run for years. I love being able to run.

The same 1 set on inserts have served for 4 years transferred from shoe to shoe. Pretty amazing value I’d say.

So I’d heartily recommend Gafin’s advice. If you’ve got any pain from running or walking, check it out. It may not be the answer for you, but it doesn’t cost a lot, and if it does work, it’s brilliant.”
